Winners of the CariFin Games are poised and ready to converge on the Atrium at Guardian Group, Westmoorings, today at 5 pm for the 24th Edition of CariFin Games Prize Distribution Function.
Some of the first time winners especially are excited to be part of this event that honours the performances in this year’s CariFin Games.
Today’s function will highlight all the winners in the CariFin games which began on April 11 with the Torch Relay and continued every week after that until June 7 at Sevilla Golf Course where the games culminated with the Cross-Country and Family Day. For three months teams of the financial services sector came together to engage in friendly rivalry and healthy competition, all within the CariFin theme of Fun, Fitness and Friendship to determine who the champions were in various athletic and sporting competitions.
There were numerous titles and accolades up for grabs over the three-month period with two names standing above the rest. These two first timers in the games shone immensely in the competition. Representing Team Guardian was Ryan O’Neil, while Adona Joseph represented Team Sagicor. They both took the major share of the prizes.
The nine teams that participated in CariFin Games this year were First Citizens, Grace Kennedy, Guardian Group, IBL Bank, Republic Bank, RBC, Sagicor, Scotiabank and Unit Trust Corporation.
