Guaya United and Defence Force will lock horns in a top-of-the-table clash when matches in the CNG National Super League Premier Division resumes today from 4pm.
The clash between leaders Guaya with 25 points from 11 matches, and Defence Force, a point behind and with a match in hand will take place at the Mannie Ramjohn Stadium Training Field, Marabella.
Both teams will enter the match on the heels of victory with Guaya, coming off a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over FC Santa Rosa while Defence Force blasted Siparia Spurs led by a hat trick from Michael Edwards.
In another key fixture, third placed 1976 FC Phoenix with 20 points, and buoyed by its 1-0 defeat of Petrotrin Palo Seco will make the journey to Grand Chemin Recreation Ground for its duel with defending champion Club Sando Moruga, 2-1 victors against Bethel United in its previous match.
Also on today, Police FC and WASA, both on 17 points will play away to Marabella Family Crisis Centre at the Mannie Ramjohn Stadium, Marabella and Real Maracas at the Maracas Recreation Ground, St Joseph, from 4pm respectively.
La Horquetta SA tackles Siparia Spurs at the Larry Gomes Stadium, Malabar; Petrotrin Palo Seco is at home to Matura Reunited and FC Santa Rose entertains Stokely Vale in the three other matches.
